His Royal Majesty, Eze C.O Ofoegbu, Okwara Orji II, of Amucha ancient kingdom will celebrate his 85th birthday and 40 years on the throne on Saturday 20th October, 2018, to commemorate Emume Iriji Amucha, an annual event that brings indigenes of the community together, to thank and glorify God for the gift of life, divine protection and bountiful harvest.

Eze Ofoegbu, as the community’s custodian of culture and tradition, has dutifully ensured that the annual event is sustained and nurtured for posterity till date, in line with the wish of the people.

It is a period of love, peace and harmony when disputes of all kinds are avoided by all and sundry.

As one of the oldest monarchs in the South East, his children and the entire community decided to honour and celebrate him, in recognition of his giant strides and contributions to the growth, development, peace and harmony that have prevailed in the community in the past for decades.
