The Executive Governor of Imo State, Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, has re-constituted a fresh interim management committee to run the affairs and businesses of the state owned Imo Concord International Hotel, New Owerri.

A release from the office of the Secretary to the State Government, Uche Onyeagocha (Esq) shows that the ten man member interim management has Raphael Jude Ude, as the Chairman and Comrade Austin Chilakpu, Imo State NLC Chairman, as Secretary.

Other members of the new committee comprise Ugoeze Edith Ohanwe, Hon. Chino Obioha, Engr. Sam Onuoha, Mrs Ngozi Ozubele and Desmond Anujuru, as well as Johnbosco Mkpadobi and Mrs. Comfort Nwakego. Their appointments were supposed to take immediate effect.

This appears to be the first time the multi billion Naira first class hospitality industry, built by late Chief Sam Mbakwe, is getting a management that suggest it’s 100% ownership by Imo State government.
