In appreciation of hardwork, support and goodwill, the vivacious Deputy Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly and member representing Nwangele State Constituency, Rt Hon Amara Chyna Iwuanyanwu, has doled cash gifts of various brands to some of his personnel aides and supporters.

Among those who benefitted from the car gifts were one of his Campaign managers, Mr Ugochukwu Onuoha, who received a brand new Jeep, while one of his personal aides, Obinna Eze, got a gift of a new Honda Accord car.

Presenting the vehicles to the happy and dedicated recipients over the week at Nwangele, the Director General of “Capacity Care Foundation” an outfit of the Deputy Speaker, Chief Paul Duru, stated that gesture is in line with his principal’s campaign promises and the reward for hard work, saying that it is not the first and last of it’s kind.

He further said that inspite of the harsh economy as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Deputy Speaker intends to make the donation of vehicles and other essential items to his workers and strong supporters a regular affair, concluding that, “those who didn’t get today may get tomorrow”.

Speaking with the Deputy Speaker, Rt Hon Amarachi Iwuanyanwu, said,he appreciates and enjoins the continued support of his constituents and would not hesitate to extend his hands of fellowship to everyone.

He also used the opportunity to thank Governor Hope Uzodinma over the appointment of some Nwangele sons and daughters and the role he played in stemming the tide of Covid-19 pandemic.

It would be recalled that apart from the recent car gifts during the heat of the ravaging Covid-19 pandemic, unlike most of his colleagues who could not get in touch with their constituents, the Deputy Speaker at various intervals doled out palliatives to his people and has not stopped.

The outpouring of goodwill messages during his recent birthday celebrations is a testimony of the benevolent and caring heart of Rt Hon Amara Iwuanyanwu.
