A popular Radio Presenter, Theodore Chinonso Uba, popularly called Nonso Nkwa, has been invited by the Anti Kidnapping Unit of the Criminal Investigation Department (C.I.D) unit, Imo State Police Command for alleged threat to life and attempted murder.
In a formal letter of invitation from the office of the Commander, Anti Kidnapping Unit, Nonso Nkwa of Oziza 96.1 FM Radio Station, was told to report by 10am on Thursday July 2nd, 2020, and on arrival, ask of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Etuk Peter
Recall that, Nonso Nkwa had in our publication of Tuesday 30th June, 2020, raised alarm of alleged plot by the Imo State Police Command to arrest, detain and possibly harm him on trumped up charges at the instance of a politician he did not mention.
This development has further raised concern on the safety of the Journalist as observers wonder why such petition and plot to incarcerate him.
