A group known as Obowo Citizens For Good Governance In Diaspora, has thrown it’s weight behind the aspiration of Comrade Nnanyereugo Kingsley Iroanuna for the Obowo State Assembly Seat come, 2023.
The spokesperson of the group, Engr. Chuks Iheme who disclosed this to newsmen via zoom after their Easter meeting, said it has become pertinent that there should be a paradigm shift from what is happening in Obowo today and get things right for a prosperous Obowo.
According to him,”We cannot continue to do same thing and expect different results. Obowo needs sincere and effective representation and not the joke we are seeing currently. After a deep search on who will do the job for Ndi Obowo, we saw a responsible young man with the right antecedents in the person of Comrade Nnanyereugo Kingsley Iroanuna of Dikenta, Avutu.
“We have decided to contribute and pay for his forms and also deploy all necessary support for him to ensure he goes through in the next election.
“Things can be done the right way for the benefit of the good people of Obowo as its being done here in the Western world says Engr. Chuks Iheme.”
It is also necessary to note that Comr. Nnanyereugo first declared his interest to represent Obowo to his Kinsmen as he received prayers and support from his people who assured him of full support.
In his speech, Comr. Nnanyereugo said, “we cannot continue to keep mute and watch Obowo lose effective and efficient representation. We cannot continue to be in the news at the Imo State House of Assembly for the wrong reasons. My mission is simple, to give Obowo a loud cum constructive voice and bring sons and daughters of Obowo together to develop Obowo. We cannot afford to disappoint De Sam Mbakwe and other illustrious sons and daughters of Obowo. I shall not disappoint myself and you all”.
