Safari Club, Owerri, has elected a new executive committee to pilot the affairs of the club for the 2025/2026 club year, with Chief Damian Okpara emerging as President.
The election, which took place at the club’s headquarters, also produced Dr. Chimezie Amanze as Vice President, Dr. John Ukagwu as General Secretary, and Dr. Chima Orji Awum as Maintenance Secretary.
Safari Club is a distinguished institution with a strong identity as a sports club, while also promoting social engagement and intellectual enrichment. Over the years, it has evolved into one of the leading recreational and thought-leadership platforms in Owerri, drawing accomplished professionals and civic leaders from across Imo State and beyond.
