-Presents N3m Cheque To IMSHIA Executive Secretary, Ewelike

The State Executive and Local Government Area Coordinators of Chukwunenye Oktus Foundation led by the National Coordinator, Hon Dr Prince Gill Ogbonna JP were at the Office of the Imo State Health Insurance Agency (IMSHIA), in Owerri, the Imo state capital recently to officially present a cheque of Three million Naira for the enrollment of 200 Imolites drawn from the 27 Local Government Areas of the state who the Founder/CEO of Chukwuneye Oktus Foundation, Mr Chukwuneye Oktus Daniel paid for, to show his unwavering support for the programs and policies of His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma’s 3R administration.
The cheque was presented to the Executive Secretary of IMSHIA, Dr Uchenna Ewelike by the National Coordinator of Chukwuneye Oktus Foundation, Hon Dr Prince Gill Ogbonna JP, on behalf of the Founder/CEO of the Foundation.
The ISHIS boss commended the CEO of Chukwuneye Oktus Foundation for deeming it necessary to assist the government in ensuring that Imo people particularly the poor and indigent enjoy quality health care services irrespective of their social and financial status, while also thanking the governor for his vision of providing free and accessible quality medicare for Imo irrespective of distance and location.
He assured that IMSHIA under his watch will continue to do the needful in addition to ensuring strict adherence to operational guidelines and prudent disbursement of funds provided for the life saving program which he described as the most elaborate and comprehensive of it’s kind by any single state in Sub-Sahara Africa.
The Hon Dr Prince Gill Ogbonna-led delegation was later conducted round the Agency’s Data Center which is not only commendable but is also accurately updated with accurate graphic information about the Agency’s services in line with international best standards.
Dr Ewelike, earlier in his speech, urged other public spirited individuals and organizations to key into the 3R administration’s vision of ensuring that Imo people enjoy this exceptional dividend of democracy that is aimed at reducing infant and adult mortality rate caused by ignorance, self medication, poverty and lack of funds.
