Rt Hon Clinton Amadi, the Deputy Minority Leader and member, representing Owerri Municipal State constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly, recently led the humanitarian outing in honour of the birthday anniversary of the former governor of Anambra State and presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 election, Peter Obi.
Hon Amadi, alongside the leader of Obedient Movement in Imo State, Hon Emma Anukanti and other party faithful visited selected motherless babies homes in the state where they donated relief materials and palliatives to help cushion the effects of the harsh economic realities on the inmates.
Hon Amadi, who believes strongly that a president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria of Igbo extraction can salvage the country and her people especially the youths from the ravaging poverty occasioned by bad, inept and purposeless governance that has led to youth restiveness joined millions of Nigerians to congratulate Peter Obi on his 64th birthday. He wished him long life, good health, divine protection and success in his political endeavours.
He also thanked members of the Obedient Movement worldwide for their resilience, support and commitment to the actualization of a better Nigeria which to all intents and purposes is possible with the right man at the country’s helm of affairs.
