Ekwuato Ward Councilor, Gill Ogbonna Thanks Uzodinma, Pledges Unwavering Support

The Councilor representing Ewuato Ward, comprising Mgbirichi/Abakuru and Umuokanne communities in the Ohaji/Egbema Legislative Assembly, Hon Dr Prince Gill Ogbonna (JP) has expressed profound gratitude to the Governor of Imo State, Dist Senator Hope Uzodinma for magnanimously organizing a 3-Day Retreat for Local Government Chairman, Vice Chairman Councilors and Supervisionary Councilors in the state to deepen their knowledge of their responsibilities as principal actors in the third tier of government.
Dr Ogbonna, who also doubles as the Chairman, House Committee on Health and Assistant Secretary, Imo State Councilors’ Forum bared his mind in a release he personally signed and made available to newsmen said, “On behalf of the good people of Ekwuato Ward and indeed the entire Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area, I, Hon. Dr. Prince Gill Ogbonna, JP, humbly extend our profound gratitude to His Excellency, the Governor of Imo State, Distinguished Senator Hope Odidika Uzodinma (Onwa Imo), for his fatherly love and visionary leadership in graciously approving the recently concluded three-day retreat for all Imo State Local Government Area Chairmen, Vice Chairmen, Councilors, Supervisory Councilors, and other selected public office holders across the state.
Your Excellency, this noble initiative has not only broadened our knowledge but has also equipped us with fresh ideas, practical tools, and renewed zeal to deliver more effective, people-oriented governance to our constituents.
Truly, your administration’s unwavering commitment to the 3R mantra of Rehabilitation, Reconstruction, and Recovery continues to set an unprecedented standard of purposeful leadership in Imo State.
We also wish to sincerely appreciate the facilitators of the retreat and the the resource persons for their depth of knowledge and guidance, the Honourable Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Chief Mrs Ruby Emele, for her steadfast support, and the entire 3R Team of His Excellency for their tireless efforts in making this knowledge-sharing engagement a resounding success.
It is our earnest prayer that the Almighty God continues to guide, bless and strengthen His Excellency, our Governor, with divine wisdom, sound health, and greater grace to pilot the affairs of our dear State to enviable heights.
