…Welcomes President Tinubu To Imo

Hon. CDB Williams, who is the Special Adviser to the Governor on Urban Development, has praised Governor Hope Uzodimma for lifting, developing and transforming Imo State infrastructurally, socially and economically.
He stated that the Governor was able to achieve tangible things and projects, especially road infrastructure, because he embraced good governance and purposeful leadership, believing strongly in the good of humanity.
CDB Williams who gave the appraisal in an interview with journalists in Owerri, on Monday, said the democratic leadership pattern of the 3R administration being steered by the Governor has brought a lot of good things to Imo State.
“Imo is currently experiencing a revived economy, improved productivity and social rejuvination. With improved security and power supply, Imo State is gradually taking back its position as the preferred tourist destination”, he asserted.
He said he was happy that the Governor is unveiling and presenting a book he wrote, titled “A Decade Of Impactful Progressive Governance In Nigeria” – that chronicles the evolution of APC, its impact, values and achievements.
CDB Williams added that the commissioning of the historic Assumpta Flyover, the iconic EIICC Building, among other projects, initiated and executed by the Governor are marks of his commitment to developing, transforming and edifying the state, lifting humanity, sustaining peace and security therein.
CDB Williams who was the APC candidate for Owerri Federal Constituency in the 2023 elections and an illustrious son of Umuihugba, Umuodu in Owerri Municipal LGA, who has attracted a lot of developmental projects to his community and the Council, said the book unveiling, presentation and the commissioning of the EIICC Building, the Flyover and other projects are germanely glorifying and described the Governor as a true democrat who is very passionate at making Imo State a haven to live in.
While welcoming the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to Imo State, CDB Williams affirmed that Governor Uzodimma’s quality projects, particularly roads, are attracting investors to the state.
“The book unveiling by the Governor and the commissioning of these legacy projects: The fully built 26-kilometer Owerri/Mbaise/Obowo/Umuahia Road, the Assumpta Flyover linking Portharcourt and Onitsha roads with the Old and New Owerri areas at the iconic Assumpta Cathedral roundabout, otherwise known as Control Post and the Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu International Conference Centre, Owerri, are worth celebrating.” he said.
“These developmental projects will not only enhance connectivity and commerce in the state, but also stand as enduring legacies of the Governor’s commitment to transformative leadership,” CDB Williams surmised.
