– As Nonso Nkwa Convenes Enlarged Coalition Meeting
Following the recent inauguration of the State and Zonal executives of the African Democratic Congress ADC in Imo state, plans are in top gear to inaugurate the Local Government and Ward executives of the party in no distant time.
Addressing journalists in his office recently, the ADC candidate for Mbaitoli/Ikeduru Federal Constituency in the 2023 election, Mazi Chinonso Uba popularly called Nonso Nkwa, said he will soon convene an enlarged meeting for all political parties and groups who have joined the ADC as Coalition partners.
These, according to him, include but are not limited to the leaders of PDP/Rebuild Imo group, CPC, Labour Party/Obedients, APC, APGA, ADP, NNPP, among others.
The Umunoha, Mbaitoli born media personality, politician and human rights activist stressed that the ADC in Mbaitoli is committed to due process, fairness, justice and equity in the distribution of LGA and Ward executive positions among the ADC and other Coalition partners.
He assured that no political party, group or structure will be relegated to the background in adherence to the 30/70 percent agreement between the ADC and Coalition partners.
“He further revealed that the meeting will hold on Friday 5th September 2025 at Claridge Hotels Ubommiri along Orlu-Owerri Rd. Time for the meeting is 12pm on the dot.
According to Nonsonkwa, those invited include, The State Chairman of ADC, Prof James Okoroma, Barr Julius Onyenucheya( PDP/REBUILD IMO), Rt Hon Okey Onyekanma Fmr House of Assembly Member Mbaitoli State Constituency ( PDP/ REBUILD IMO), Chief Christopher Ejiogu (Uncle C) Labour Party, Chief Henry Olumba ( ADC Apex Leader), Chief Osita Onuoha (ADP Leader), Chief Dave Aguocha,State Ex Officio, Mrs Domike, State Auditor, Chief Ferdinand Uhuegbu, Mbaitoli ADC Chairman, among others.
Critical decisions would be taken at the meeting according to the converner as Mbaitoli ADC is poised to make progress in equity, fairness and due process”.
