– President, Nzekwe Delivers Speech On Cultural Significance Of Kolanut In Igbo Land
The Ideato South Local Government Area Chapter of Orluzurumee worldwide was inaugurated on Thursday, September 18, 2025.
The event which was held at the Local Government Council hall was attended by distinguished leaders and stakeholders.
The L.G.A Assistant Coordinator, Chief Eustace Iheanyichukwu Amuka, who said the opening prayer, urged the inaugurated community coordinators to place premium on peace, and mutual co-existence in their various communities with a view to ensuring unity and development.
One of the highlights of the event was the lecture delivered by the President General of Orluzurumee Worldwide, Hon Ugochukwu Nzekwe who harped on the cultural significance of kolanut presentation in Igbo land.
The Coordinator of the group in Ideato South Local Government Area, Dr Chris Nwando, also delivered a lecture on the need for community, cultural and traditional co-existence.
“Other notable speakers were Hon. Chief Onwa Emma Maduike, Coordinator of Local Government Coordinators, and the National Organizing Secretary, Hon. Kelechi Duru, both of whom addressed wider Ohanaeze and Orluzurumee issues.
The event was well attended by all 27 Community Coordinators of the LGA, members of the Executive, and special guests. The Executive Chairman of Ideato South LGA, Chief Okechukwu Okwara Morocco, was ably represented by the Legislative Council Leader, Hon. Chief Okechukwu Anusionwu, who also participated in his personal capacity.”
