-Seeks Partnership With Media

The Chief of Staff to the Governor, Barr. Nnamdi Anyaehie, says Hope Uzodimma is committed to the welfare of Imo people, saying he is very passionate at humanity.
The Chief of Staff to the Governor stated this when he had audience with the Independent Newspapers Publishers Association, Imo State, at Government House, Owerri, on Sunday.
He said the Imo State Government has done well in all facets of governance particularly in improving well-being of the people which he said is evidenced in the recent astronomic increase in salaries of public workers in the state.
“Imo State Government has done perfectly well in all facets. Only recently, His Excellency, Governor Hope Uzodimma, harkened, without promise, to the voices of the impoverished civil servants of the state by being the first state to pay more than One Hundred Thousand Naira as Minimum Wage”, Anyaehie said.
He added that the Governor freely and joyously identifies with the common person, remarking that the jumbo increment on Minimum Wage is a great feat which he said will enable the workers to afford, at least, One Bag of Rice at the end of the month.
The Nkwerre LGA born politician did not mince his words as he affirmed that the Imo Health Insurance Scheme is working effectively, admitting that many patients especially those of Imo origin had been treated free of charge, urging residents to ensure that they enrol into the scheme to be able to defeat the burden of outrageous bills at private hospitals.
On social amenities, Anyaehie assured Imo people that the 3R administration is working effectively and efficiently to boost electricity supply across the state with a view to improving productivity.
Anyaehie buttressed that Imo is flourishing and will soon be a model state, hinting that the achievements recorded so far by the Shared Prosperity Government are germanely glorifying and edifying the state, attracting tourists and investors.
He called on journalists to help in spreading the gospel of good governance being propagated by Governor Hope Uzodimma and the APC.
“Imo is flourishing and will soon be a model modern state. Our people should always appreciate the good governance in any point in time. I’m a willing tool to assist you (the media), but always help to spread the gospel of the government”, Anyaehie stressed.
He added that real democracy is soaring in the state.
