The Eze-elect of Mbaoma Autonomous community, in Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo State, Chief Maurice Chukwuma Achu ( Omeudo 1 ) a Knight of the Church has doffed his hat for Governor Hope Uzodimma for his giant infrastructural development strides in the State.
In an exclusive interview with the Nigerian Watchdog Newspaper in his Emii country home, Chief Achu, who spoke on behalf of his family and the good people of his community, commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his steadfastness and commitment to national development.
The Eze-elect who commended Uzodimma for the official unveiling/Public presentation of his book, “A Decade of Impactful Progressive.Governance in Nigeria” thanked the governor for successfully completing the Owerri -Mbaise – Umuahia Road, among others, the Control Post flyover, the reconstruction of the former Imo ( State ) International Convention centre (IICC) now renamed Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu International Convention Centre ( EIICC ) to immortalize the name of the immediate past President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo worldwide. “The several developmental projects attest to the governor’s passionate comittment to improving the lives of Imo people who have never had it so good”.
Chief Achu also commended the governor on his exploits in the health sector, especially on the free health Insurance Scheme that has, to a great extent ameliorated the plight of the people and also reduced adult and infant mortality rates. He described the state’s number one Citizen as a friendly governor who has the interest of the people at heart.
“Our governor has demonstrated tremendous leadership capacity. His Excellency, Dist. Senator Hope Uzodimma has shown, without an iota of doubt, that he is indeed “Onwa Imo”- the Sun that shines upon Ndi Imo. We are grateful to him for the successful completion of the Owerri – Mbaise – Umuahia interstate road, the Asumpta Cathedral twin flyover, and the renovation of former Imo International Convention Centre ( IICC ) which is now renamed after late President General of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo worldwide, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, among other landmark projects that will remain reference points for a very long time.”
