Youths of Egbema Kingdom, drawn from all community youth leadership structures under the umbrella of Egbema Youth Association (EYA), on Tuesday, paid a courtesy visit to Prince Francis Uzor, at his Owerri residence, where they honoured him as the Patron of the association.

The delegation was led by the President of the Egbema Youth Association, Hon. Dcn. Alamezie Henry Mazuwa, alongside executive members and community youth leaders representing the various Egbema communities.

The visit marked by solidarity and pride, was aimed at recognizing Prince Uzor’s contributions to the development and positive image of Egbema Kingdom.

Speaking, the youth, through Mazuwa, expressed deep pride in Prince Uzor whom they described as a worthy son of the soil whose achievements and conduct he added have continued to bring honour to the kingdom.

They stated that the conferment of the Patronship was not only a mark of appreciation, but also a call for him to continue to serve as a beacon of hope, inspiration and leadership for the younger generation.

According to them, “Prince Uzor has consistently demonstrated commitment to the progress of his people and has remained a source of encouragement to Egbema youths both at home and in the diaspora. We look forward to his continued guidance, mentorship and service to Egbema.

Responding, Hon. Prince Francis Uzor expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Egbema youth for the honour bestowed on him.

He described the Honour as humbling and reaffirmed his deep connection to his roots, assuring the youth of his unwavering support for youth development, unity and the overall advancement of Egbema,

Prince Uzor urged the youth to remain united, peaceful and focused on building a prosperous future.

The event climaxed with goodwill messages as they harped on renewed commitment toward strengthening collaboration among Egbema youths and leaders for sustainable community development.
