Imo APC commends Uzodinma, Arodiogbu, others for ensuring peaceful, hitch free exercise
Chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC in Imo State Chief Austin Onyedebelu, has, on behalf of the State Working Committee, State Executive Council and the entire members of the party in the state expressed gratitude to the Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma CON, for deploying his leadership acumen towards ensuring that the Zonal Congress of the party in Enugu was successful, peaceful and hitch free.
He also thanked the Governors of Enugu, Peter Mba, that of Eboniyi, Francis Nwifuru, the Deputy Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Hon Benjamin Kalu, former Senate Presidents, Anyim Pius Anyim and Ken Nnamani, respectively, Chairman of the APC (South) Chief Emma Eneukwu, other members of the National Assembly including critical stakeholders for their support for Uzodinma’s exceptional leadership of the party in the south east.
This was contained in a release signed by the Publicity Secretary of the APC in Imo State, Onwuasoanya FCC Jones PhD and made available to newsmen.
The release dated March 26, 2026 further stated that, “The Party recognises in a special way, the governor’s sacrifices and selflessness in navigating and managing the varying interests within the Party and ensuring that everyone came to an agreement which ensured that the Consensus arrangement was adopted in electing officials of the Party at the congress. The governor once again demonstrates exceptional leadership skills and the wisdom that has stood him out among leaders, and the Imo State APC can’t be prouder of him.
The State Working Committee also wishes to extend our heartfelt felicitations to all the newly elected and re-elected members of the Southeast Zonal Executive Committee of our great Party, led by Dr. Ijeoma Arodiogbu, the Southeast Zonal Chairman.
Dr. Arodiogbu comes to the job, for the second consecutive term, with enviable credentials in Party organisation and management, as well as unrivalled mobilisation capacity, which we trust shall be highly facilitative to our Party’s ambition to bring the entire Southeast into the strong, progressive and prosperous bunch of our broom of glory.
As we prepare to proceed to Abuja for the National Convention, we commend all the national delegates for their commitment and wish them a very safe journey to the nation’s capital, as we look forward to enjoying what promises to be the best national convention in the history of our great Party”.
