-Urges Orlu Zone to Promote Peace, Unity

The Executive Chairman of Orlu Local Government Area of Imo State, Hon. Pastor Chris Mbarie, has commended Governor Hope Uzodimma for what he described as giant achievements across the state, noting that they have significantly enhanced social development, economic prosperity, peace, security, and citizens’ comfort.
Mbarie gave the commendation while addressing the people of Orlu Senatorial Zone during a well-attended Expanded Leadership and Stakeholders Meeting of Orluzurumee Worldwide, held on Saturday at the Orlu Local Government Headquarters.
He stated that the governor has constructed numerous quality roads in Orlu Zone and other parts of the state, alongside key infrastructure projects in healthcare, electricity, and market development. According to him, these initiatives have boosted commercial activities and productivity across the zone.
Mbarie remarked that the sterling performance of the governor across the 27 local government areas distinguishes him as a visionary, democratic, humane, and development-conscious leader. He reiterated that Imo State has witnessed tremendous improvement in neatness, aesthetics, peace, security, tourism, hospitality, technology, commerce, and industry since the inception of the Shared Prosperity administration.
Describing Governor Uzodimma as a blessing to Imo State, Mbarie urged the people of Orlu Senatorial Zone to continue to support the 3R (Rebuild, Recover, Restore) administration while actively promoting unity, peace, and security within the zone.
The Orlu Council Chairman, who has also recorded notable developmental achievements in the local government area, assured that he would continue to work tirelessly for the good of the people in line with the leadership philosophy of the 3R agenda and the APC-led government.
“I thank the people of Orlu Senatorial Zone for gathering here today to deliberate on the way forward for the zone. Our revered traditional rulers are also specially appreciated for their presence. I am happy to be here with you,” he said.
“The Expanded Leadership and Stakeholders Meeting of Orluzurumee Worldwide has been fruitful and will yield positive outcomes in the future. Our distinguished governor is a blessing to Orlu Senatorial Zone and Imo State at large. I consider myself the luckiest local government chairman in Imo State because the 3R administration has greatly favoured my area.
“I will continue to fully support Orluzurumee in advancing the development of the zone. This meeting is germane, and our people must continue to promote unity, peace, security, and development,” he added.
Mbarie further maintained that the governor’s impressive achievements particularly in road infrastructure have significantly reduced insecurity in Orlu Zone and other parts of Imo State, noting that social and economic life has been fully restored across the state.
