The All Progressives Congress (APC) Senatorial candidate for Imo East (Owerri zone) of Imo State in the forthcoming January 2027 elections, Prince Alex Mbata (popularly called PAM PAM) has expressed profound gratitude to the people of Owerri zone for their love, trust and belief in him to give them effective representation at the red chamber of the National Assembly come 2027.
Mbata stated that he will not take the confidence the people repose on him for granted, promising that he would not fail them as he has mapped out programmes for the overall benefit of the people of the zone.
He said that his victory at the primary does not belong to him alone but to the good people of Owerri zone, adding “we are all winners and the final victory on 16th January, 2027 will surely belong to all of us.”
“To my revered people of Owerri zone, I am with you all in body and spirit and I use this Pentecost Sunday being the day the Holy Spirit descended on the Apostles of Jesus Christ to remind you that we shall overcome as we receive the Holy Ghost in our hearts.
“As one who has taken time to prepare to give Owerri zone effective representation, I assure you all that I have the capacity, integrity, contact, and the ability to do the job. From today, I have entered a contract with the people of the zone for good representation and I promise not to fail.”
