The All Peoples Party (APP) has unveiled the intimidating profile of its candidate for Orlu, Orsu, Oru East Federal constituency in the 2027 general election.
He is Stephen Uwaezuoke, an indigene of Umori, Amanato, Eziachi, Orlu, an American trained computer Scientist and Data Base Administrator.
The leaders of the party who met recently in Owerri, the state capital, under the leadership of Chief Dominic Nnebedum said, considering the inept, docile and purposeless representation of the past, they carefully selected Uwaezuoke after extensive deliberations with a view to ensuring quality, effective and result-oriented representation for the constituents.
“We believe that with him, the vacuum created by ineffective representation will not only be filled, but will become a thing of the past. It is saddening to hear that other members of the House of Representatives organized mega empowerment programmes, held periodic town hall meetings where they interacted with and felt the pulse of their people and attracted constituency projects. But the case is entirely different in our Federal constituency where the orchestrated dividends of democracy promised during electioneering campaigns have remained a mirage”.
Continuing, they said, “when the time of reckoning comes, all facts will be laid bare because like the bible says’, “affliction will never be allowed the second time in Orlu, because the people are wiser”.
A release issued by the party as regards Stephen Uwaezuoke’s childhood, education and career reads thus, “From the classrooms of Awo-Omamma Comprehensive Secondary School to to the lecture halls of Southern University, Louisiana, USA, Stephen Cy. Uwaezuoke has built a 35-year career at the intersection of technology, education, and entrepreneurship.
He is a native of Umori, Amato, Eziachi, Orlu, Imo State. Stephen’s academic journey has earned him Bachelor of Science, with honors in Economics and a Master of Science in Computer Science, from Southern University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA. with the prestigious membership in Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.
He is married to Mrs. Elizabeth Abiola Uwaezuoke, with four children.
He translated his educational foundation into various careers: as a Bank Clerk in First Bank of Nigeria, worked as Professor in Computer Science, Programmer, Analyst, and Database Administrator.
President and CEO, Zeentacks Corporation, he has driven business growth across services and real estate development — recruiting talents, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing property portfolios.
He is an entrepreneur, involved in business and property management, and real estate business.
His professional leadership notwithstanding, Chief Uwaezuoke has been a dedicated, and skillful community leader since his teenage years.
