Youths operating under the umbrella body of “Isiala Mbano Youth Movement” have collectively made it clear that the Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chiji Collins, “MUST” be recalled with immediate effect.
The youths who spoke through their leader, Hon. Amb. Kelechi Uzomah, said that Mr. Speaker abandoned his legislative duties to become an errand and bodyguard to the governor of Imo state, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha.
The vibrant youth leader, equally accused the speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly of failing to attract anything meaningful to his constituency, since his election into the State House of Assembly four years ago, saying that Mr. Speaker is rather busy chasing shadows and his personal aggrandizement, instead of strategizing on how to improve the welfare and continued existence of his constituents.
Uzomah, who was the candidate of Kowa Party in the last Isiala Mbano House of Assembly polls, described the Imo speaker as a man whose lifestyle has made members of his constituency a laughing stocks in the comity of constituencies in Imo State.
The political analyst, Amb. Uzomah, further in his words, lambasted the Isiala Mbano lawmaker for withholding the six months salaries and allowances of his predecessor, Hon. Lady Joy Mbawuike, during the period their matter was in court.
Uzomah further accused the Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly of having nocturnal meetings against the governor, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha.
He insisted that Mr. Speaker must be recalled to serve as a deterrent to other leaders in plum political positions who may want to take the people who voted for them, for a ride.
