Imo State Congress of America (ISCA) the umbrella organization of all Imo State organizations in the United States of America (USA) have regretted the sudden death of the Imo North senator, late Senator Benjamin Chukwuemeka Uwajumogu, whose demise they described as a monumental loss to true democracy and the people of the state in general.

In a world press conference organized while on transit,the National President, Chief Engr. Sampson Udeh declared that the death of Ben Uwajumogu who is popularly known as “Bonjass” and complete gentleman, is a great loss to Nigeria democracy, “When we need his likes to stem the tide and row the ship towards a new horizon”, the National President stated.

Continuing, he averred that “this is the time we all yearn for politics without bitterness which Uwajumogu represented and in different from “politics of do or die”.
He also said that it is painful that when Uwajumogu was needed most to serve the people of Okigwe zone, Imo state and Nigeria in general, was when we lost him.

The release further stated that his death reminds Imo people in USA those who have fallen in like manner and prayed that the soul of the deceased Senator should find solace in the bossom of the Lord.
