Labour Party is a unique, refined and digital political party, comprising, credible, tested, and transparent politicians, with outstanding integrity and track record.
The state secretary of the party Hon. Eze Prince Oparaugo, made this assertion while addressing journalists in Owerri recently.

He averred that a political party should have structures that will enhance accountability, probity, internal democracy, discipline and the rule of law. “It should not be run like a personal enterprise where one hires and fires at will, just like our former national chairman, Chief A.A. Abdulsallam and his cohorts were doing.
He urged the people to disregard the congresses purportedly being held “here and there” in the state because they don’t have the approval of the authentic national exco, led by Dr. Mike Omotosho. “Our present national chairman, Dr. Omotosho has strengthened, sanitized, repackaged and repositioned Labour Party for future challenges.

The Umuoronjo, Owerri Municipal born youthful and vibrant politician, said he was in the PDP but decided to “join LP because of the responsibility and decency of the members and its people-oriented manifesto.”

He urged Imo youths to embrace and fully identify with Labour Party because it is passionate about their welfare and empowerment. “Labour Party is committed to the liberation of Imolites from the shackles of poverty, hunger and retrogression. Labour Party will definitely occupy Douglas House, come 2019, because our people are wiser now and will no longer be deceived with empty promises. They can now read and understand the handwriting on the wall, and act appropriately.”
