An acclaimed American trained educator and columnist with the Sun Newspaper and other Newspapers,  Dr. Acho Orabuchi formally presented his book, titled “views from America: A sojourner’s memoirs” to the public, at Rock View Hotel, Wetheral Road by Okigwe Road junction on Thursday 28th December 2017.

The foreword of the 253 page book which indeptly analyses, x-rays and offers solutions to the diverse socio-economic, political and leadership problems of Nigeria, were written by the Deputy Senate President, Dr. Ike Ekweremadu (CFR) and the Special Adviser to the President on Media, Femi Adesina, the former governor of Imo State, Chief Ikedi Ohakim wrote the preface, while the book was reviewed by Chief John Bosco Ozigbo, CEO, Burnsville group. Sir Amara Iwuanyanwu (KSC) Chief Executive Officer of Sun Gold Group and Hon. Prince Eugene Dibiagwu were the Chief Presenter and Chief Launcher respectively.

Former President, Goodluck Jonathan, in a release, congratulated the author for a job well done. He expressed optimism that the book reflects Dr. Orabuchi’s vast experience as “a professional with immense accomplishments and patriotic service to humanity, in Nigeria and in the diaspora”. He commended the author for this hard work, dedication and enthusiasm, which, he said, have earned him a well deserved success.

Dr. Acho Orabuchi, an accomplished educator, writer, community activist and socio-political commentator who has bachelor’s degrees in International Affairs and Economics respectively and Master of Public Administration, with emphasis on Public Finance and budgeting from East Washington University, in 1982 and 1984 respectively, also attended University of North Texas in Denton and Southern Methodist University in Dallas for graduate level courses in political science and economics.
