The member representing Ihitte-Uboma state constituency in Imo state house of Assembly, Hon Michael Onyemaechi Njoku has postponed his Michael Crown care foundation free empowerment raffle draw, earlier scheduled to take place on Saturday 21st December, 2019, as a result of the sudden demise of senator Benjamin Uwajumogu.

Speaking to press, Hon. Njoku said that the news of Uwajumogu’s death came as a shock to him and he has not concentrated ever since because he was with the late Uwajumogu recently to discuss on how to move Okigwe zone and Ihitte-Uboma forward and the plans he has for Imo State.
He stressed that the Uwajumogu was a good man and has never seen a politician like him. He also described him as a benevolent man, saying that his death is a big loss to Imo, Okigwe zone, Ihitte-Uboma and especially Umuhi where he came from.
He lamented that he does know how he will cope with the kind of vacuum his death created in his heart. Wished that something could be done or even hear a news that most distinguished senator Benjamin Uwajumogu is still alive.
He urged the families of late Sen Uwajumogu to take heart because only God knows the best. He prayed that God should condole them and give them the heart to bear the loss.
