The Interim Management Committee (IMC) Chairman of Ihitte/Uboma local government area of Imo State, Hon. Chike Olemgbe, has urged members of the committee to use their positions to unite and attract development to their various wards.

Olemgbe gave the advice on Friday, 9th April 2020, when he inaugurated Twelve (12) members of the committee. He advised them to be law-abiding in conformity with the oath of office they have taken and equally urged them to immediately sensitize their people on the Coronavirus pandemic preventive measures.

The inauguration which took place at the council headquarters in Isinweke was conducted under strict adherence to social distancing policy on Covid-19.

Members of the committee and their wards include Okonkwo Anthony Chukwuebuka (Amakohia) Mbadugha Emmanuel, (Umuezegwu) Chikamnele Christopher (Umuihi) Barr Onyema Godson (Okata), Chibuike Mmirikwe (Awuchunumu).

Others are Okey Ndeji (Dimneze), Charles Nwagbara (Amaiyi), Nwachukwu Kelechi (Ikperejere), Mrs. Kate Ubani (Abueke), Raymond Iheakauzo (Atonerim) Ihiasonwa Chukwuzitere and Mrs. Ibenye Duru completed the list of the committee as youth leader and woman leader respectively.
