A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo State, Hon Dr Celestine Izunobi has commended the Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma on his numerous achievements within his first 100 days in office.

Speaking with our reporter in Owerri over the weekend, the USA trained Orsu LGA born Medical Doctor described Uzodinma as a pacesetter whose resolve to develop Imo State is unquenchable. According to him, it would have taken a visionary leader like Senator Hope Uzodinma to manage the Covid-19 pandemic crisis to the extent that Imo only recorded 2 identifiable index cases of Covid-19, saying that if the Governor was not prepared for leadership, the situation would have overwhelmed him.

Izunobi among other numerous achievements of Governor Hope Uzodinma rated the governor high on infrastructure, education, security and welfare of the Imo state citizens. He said that the Governor should be commended for inheriting contracts awarded by his predecessors which attribute he said is often unheard of and that the singular decision has led to massive infrastructural development in the state.

He was of the opinion that with what the governor has done within this crisis era of Covid-19, he is optimistic that Imo is indeed in safe hands. He urged Imolites to be patient with the governor, assuring that the Hope Uzodinma administration is poised to serving Imo people to their satisfaction.

Speaking on education, Izunobi appreciated the governor over his effort to revive the educational sector which he said was in near comatose under the previous administrations.
