The remains of late octogenarian, Pa Venatius Ugwonnaegbulem Anokwute of Duruemegharibe Umuduruogba Okwudor Njaba local government area in Imo State, a community leader, an astute Oguta based business man and the father of Mr Anselem Anokwute, an Owerri based Journalist, with the Nigeria Watchdog Newspaper will be committed to mother earth today in his family compound at 12 noon, after a requiem mass for the repose of his soul at St Paul’s Catholic Church Okwudor.
According to the funeral arrangement released by the family, the body of the deceased is expected to depart Working B mortuary Okwudor by 8am for a brief lying in state in his compound for his children, relatives and other sympathizers to pay him their last respect to him before attending the church for the funeral mass scheduled to begin at 10am with all attendants observing all Covid-19 task force health related directives.
Thereafter the body will be interned to rest in a pre-prepared grave at his compound after which friends, well-wishers and sympathizers will be treated to funeral cultural, religious, ceremonies befitting a man of his status.
Pa Venatius Ugwonnaegbulem Anokwute, a father of one dozen children, many sons and daughters, inlaws, many ground-children, who died in April 2020, at the ripe age of 83 years, will be dearly missed.
