The Orlu Regional Assembly, United States Of Ameriaca(ORAUSA), an umbrella Association for Orlu sons and daughters resident in the United States of America early this week, donated books, masks and drugs to be used by children and the elderly in the state.

The group which was represented by Chief Gipson Chigbu, former two term president of ORAUSA alongside Chief Green Iheka and Celia Hibbert while donating the materials to the Hospital Management stated that the COVID-19 lockdown affected their programs otherwise, the entire executive members of the noble association would have been there to make the presentation. They stated that in spite of the lockdown and challenges faced by the union, they still think home and always willing to assist in any way possible to cushion the suffering of the people during and after the pandemic.

Chigbu appreciated the hospital management for making good use of all the materials and building donated to the hospital in the past. He assured that in line with the Association’s determination to help the downtrodden and overall development of our people, the Union will not relent in supporting the hospital.

The CMD, of the Imo State University Teaching Hospital (IMSUTH), while receiving the materials thanked the donors for living by example. He extended his sincere heartfelt appreciation to the entire executive and members of ORAUSA for the support.
