A presidential outrider simply known as Amini on alleged unauthorized duty with the Governor of Kogi State Ahaji Yahaya Bello lost his life in a ghastly accident along Ajaouta-Lokoja road on their return journey from a trip to Owerri Imo State where they had gone to mark the one year anniversary of Governor Hope Uzodinma’s assumption office and part of Yahaya Bello’s presidential ambition for 2023.

Grapevine media confirmed reports indicate that the deceased out-rider who is on alleged dual salaries from the presidency and the governor’s office had the penchant of using his auto-bike as an out rider on Kogi governor’s tours round the country in unauthorized trips alongside other out-riders across the county.

The presidential rider was reported to have died early on Monday morning by 3am after being rushed to Kogi specialist hospital at Lokoja after the crash assumed to have occurred as a result of lack of sleep due to night journey.

Though the Chief Press Secretary to the Kogi Governor Onogwu Galatieus denied the incident but Observers Times reports can authoritatively confirm the death of the rider with his body in an ambulance to Abuja.

Our source said that the Kogi Governor was in Imo state via Enugu to attend the one year anniversary of Governor of Imo state, Hope Uzodinma and his campaign to become Nigeria’s President in 2023.

Late Presidential out rider, Aminu has been on dual salary from the Presidency and Kogi state for carrying out illegal assignments of riding on Kogi Governor’s convoy round the country.

Kogi Governor who made a night trip from Owerri had penchant for using auto bike riders all over the country, unlike his other colleagues in other states.

The Presidential rider travelled without official clearance and permission from State House Transport Officer with the Kogi state Governor to the South East.

As at press time, there was no official reaction from the Presidency as no pronouncement was made by the officers concerned.

Kogi Governor is known for flouting Presidential directives from all angles and had been at logger heads with NCDC and PTF over COVID-19 pandemic, a world ravaged ailment that Governor Bello had denied it’s existence in Kogi State.
