Chief Dr. Chris Esiobu, a factional President General of Orluzurumee social cultural organization has unequivocally condemned the ugly incident that happened in Imo state last Sunday, adding that no drop of any Orlu son can be equated with any property no matter its value.

He revealed this while speaking with journalists in Owerri recently.

According to him, Orluzurumee social cultural organization has put measures in place to reconcile Senator Hope Uzodinma, the governor of Imo state and Senator Rochas Okorocha, the former governor of Imo state, describing the conflict between the duo as unnecessary.

Chief Dr Esiobu disclosed that arising from an emergency meeting held last Monday in Orlu which comprised  notable traditional  rulers and top notch members of the group including the traditional ruler of Umudioka autonomous community in Orlu L.G.A, HRH Eze Thomas Obiefule and others, they resolved to invite Okorocha and Uzodinma for reconciliation.

He recalled that Eze Obiefule told Orluzurumee to ensure that no stone is left unturned in ensuring that the two great sons of Orlu zone are reconciled.

Chief Esiobu said that Orluzurumee which was formed about 40 years ago has settled such disputes in the past hence this would not be an exception.

Esiobu, a one time governorship candidate in Imo state exonerated governor Uzodinma from the whole episode, adding that the humiliation meted on Rochas was done by  those he described as over zealous aides of governor Uzodinma.

He used the opportunity to unveil the plans of Orluzurumee to organize a civic reception for governor Uzodinma as well as the national assembly members of Orlu extraction made stated that the expected event will be successful.

Recall that the former governor of Imo state and Senator representing Imo West in the national assembly Rochas Okorocha was last Sunday arrested by the Imo state police command over alleged unlawful unsealing of Royal Spring Palm Estate.
