The Iconic two time female lawmaker for Isu State Constituency in the Imo State House Of Assembly, Rt.Hon (Mrs) Ngozi Obiefule has done it again as she like an Amazon blazed a new trail by sponsoring four young graduates from her constituency to travel abroad for their Masters Degree programmes.
The recipients of this kind and benevolent gesture who were captured on camera recently at the departure wing of the Abuja airport expressed joy and excitement over this great show of love and promised to be good ambassadors and to ensure that the gesture will yield future fruitful results.
Speaking to our reporter on their way out of the country one of the beneficiaries said
“with joy and happiness from the depth of my heart, I want to sincerely extol Rt. Hon. Chief (Mrs) Ngozi Obiefule, member representing ISU state constituency in the Imo state house of assembly for this great onerous zenith of legacy and sacrifice.
I am motivated by her loving, vivacious, bold, diligent, prudent and firm belief in investing in human capital development.
The event signaling the empowerment of this four great men; Ekwerike Patrick from Ekwe community, Oriji Princegeorge from Ebenator Ekwe, Izuchukwu Orisakwe from Isuobishi and Olugbuo Prince from Amandugba, to Cyprus will prove to the custodians of political researchers that the things we love to learn before we can do them, we learn by doing them.
Their chronicles in Isu then and in Cyprus today will be incomplete without Hon. Ngozi Obiefule because having their dreams fulfilled is far more therapeutic than having them analyzed here in Nigeria.”
Speaking to our correspondents on the development, Obiefule who sees the beneficiaries as her children disclosed that she sold her land to ensure she achieves the feat.
She said that she has no regret in embarking on this scholarship sponsorship venture knowing that they will be useful not only to Isu but Nigeria at large. She hopes to enroll more people into this new scheme.
