Arise Africa Magazine has bestowed a prestigious “Lifetime Achiever of the Year” award on the founder of Aka Ji Ikukuoma Foundation, High Chief Dr. Summers V.C Nwokie.

The award of honor, strictly based on merit, is not unconnected with the several philanthropic and humanitarian activities the recipient’s foundation has been involve in.

At the event, which held at Full Moon Hotel Owerri, where several other distinguished personalities were also celebrated, Dr. Nwokie expressed his profound gratitude to the organizers for finding him worthy of appreciation. Represented by the Director General of his foundation, Comrade Julius Nnaji, who in turn, was flanked by of the foundation, who came in solidarity and support for their benefactor, High Chief Dr. Nwokie expressed his unwavering resolve and commitment to the welfare of the downtrodden and socio-economic development of humanity.

He also used the opportunity to implore all Africans to commit themselves, no matter how little, in the course of positively changing the narrative of the great continent of Africa, stressing that its time for we, Africans, to write our stories by ourselves.

He extolled all present and past African leaders who worked and are still working for the realization of the true African dream, while dedicating the award to mankind and all lovers of humanity.

The event had some thrills from the pageantry, comical moments and debates by selected secondary schools.
