The Vice Chancellor of Kingsley Ozumba University (KOMU), Ogboko, in Ideato South L.G.A Prof Ikechukwu Dozie has called on Imolites at home and in the Diaspora to contribute their quota towards the growth and development of the university which he said will in no distant time be a reference point as the best University in the country.

Prof Dozie stated this while receiving a pile of books on different disciplines donated to the university by a Development Expert, Dr Reginald Ihebuzor, recently .

He expressed gratitude to the Dr Ihebuzor’s family which he said was the school’s first benefactor  in that regard.

Earlier in his speech, Dr Ihebuzor who also donated books to the Imo state University of Agriculture and Environmental Studies Umuagwo in Ohaji/Egbema LGA, among others, said the gesture was in memory of his late wife, Dr Nnenna Nkeiruka Ihebuzor, a Consultant Pediatrician and an acclaimed public servant.

He extolled the virtues of Dr Ihebuzor’s and the Vice Chancellor of Imo state University of Agriculture and Environmental Studies Prof Patrick Egbule who he said are his very close friends.

It would be recalled that on the front page of our today’s edition, there was a minor computer error we quoted Prof Dozie as speaking on “KOMU’S presumption” instead of resumption. The error is highly regretted.
