Chief Mrs Salome Zainab Marwa wife of the Director General of Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA and former Military Governor of Borno and Lagos States, Brig General Buba Marwa who died recently after a protracted illness will be buried in her maiden home, Ezedibia, Emekuku in Owerri North LGA of Imo State on Saturday January 29, 2022.

The deceased who is the elder sister of renowned politician and former governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA in the 2007 election and the former deputy governor of Imo state, Sir Jude Agbaso was the first lady of Borno State when her husband was the military governor before he was redeployed to Lagos State where he also served as military governor during the Ibrahim Babangida military administration.

A release from the office of Chief Agbaso MFA (Ochudo Owerri) indicates that the remains of the highly respected first lady will be laid  to rest at her maiden home, Emekuku in Owerri North of Imo State on January 29 after all formal funeral rites.
