·        Ex-governor venting his frustration-Gov’s aide

Barely three days after an All Progressive Congress APC stalwart and Publicity Secretary in Okwuabali ward, in Orlu local government area of Imo State, Desmond Tochukwu Ugwumba resigned as the party’s spokesperson, the former governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha who presently represents Orlu zone, where Uzodinma comes from in the national assembly, has in a viral video passed a vote of no confidence on governor Hope Uzodinma who he described as an “Anti Christ”.

Okorocha who stated this while addressing party faithful recently , noted that it was Uzodinma’s disregard for the church and its leadership that warranted him to allegedly mandate security operatives to invade St peters Anglican Church Eziama Obaire shooting sporadically in attempt to arrest Uche Nwosu.

Senator Okorocha posited that, “no Christian in his or her right senses, would under normal circumstances shoot in a church, morso while prayers were ongoing. Anybody who exhibits such disrespect for God and the sanctity of his sanctuary is an Anti Christ who should not be given a chance to run the affairs of our State.“

Senator Okorocha and his supporters were seen in the trending video singing and dancing anti-Uzodinma songs, saying „Onye ahu gbara chukwu egbe, o gaghi achi anyi ozo, onye ahu gbara chukwu egbe, ogaghi achi anyi ozo“ meaning that person who shot God in the church will never govern us again.”

When contacted, governor Hope Uzodinma’s Special Adviser, on Print Media, Hon Modestus Nwankpa said, “it is obvious that Okorocha is talking like a frustrated person. He knows between him and governor Uzodinma who is an Anti-Christ Imo people also know.”

In 2015 when Horn Newspaper in one of its advertorial publication said that he is a member of Ogboni fraternity. He sent people to go and vandalize the newspaper’s office as if that would obliterate the truth which Imolites already knew. Besides, the police have publicly claimed responsibility for Uche Nwosu’s arrest yet Rochas Okorocha is still desperately trying to rope Governor Uzodinma into his son-in-law Uche Nwosu’s  saga. It is clear that Governor Uzodinma is neither involved nor behind the incident, hence Okorocha should control and/or rechannel his frustration and its effects.

Effort to also hear from the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Oguwike Nwachukwu proved abortive as he didn’t pick calls put to his phone.
