The wind of resignations blowing across the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, in Imo State has continued unabated as the former member representing Nkwerre, Isu, Nwangele, Njaba Federal Consistency in the Federal House of Representatives, Hon Ugonna Ozuruigbo has joined the long list of those who have resigned their membership of the PDP.

OZB, who resigned barely one week after the immediate past Governor of Imo State, His Excellency, Chief Emeka Ihedioha resigned from the party hinged his exit on the several irreconcilable differences that has thorn the state and national executives of the party into shreds.

Hon Ozuruigbo, a former Deputy Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, had before his resignation, reportedly consulted the Orlu zonal leaders and other relevant stakeholder including members of his political structure who endorsed his exit from the PDP which, according to them has become a purposeless lame duck.

“His resignation from the PDP will enhance his political career which has from inception been on upward mobility, though he has not disclosed his next move”, a source said.
