–      Says: His Business Interest, Reason For Not Supporting Owerri Agenda In 2015

A political heavy weight and vocal commentator on contemporary issues, Prof Orikeze Ajumbe, has said that the recent statement by Chief Charles Amadi (CHARLVON) that he did not support the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Emeka Ihedioha, who is from Owerri zone because he is clannish is false and misleading.

Ajumbe, who stated this while reacting to Charlvon’s recent comment while speaking with this reporter, posited that “Charlvon, as a contractor and other leader of Owerri zone who, like him are also contractors seeking favour from the federal government made a sharp u-turn the moment former President Goodluck Jonathan lost the presidential election in 2015 and joined the APC, in a desperate bid to feather their nests and not because of what he claims about Ihedioha being clannish.

Ajumbe, further stated that he, as the Leader of Owerri Mandate Movement that was mobilizing support for former Governor Rochas Okorocha brought so many Owerri leaders to support Okorocha, adding that he despises people “who resort to lies for survival even when the facts are very glaring and obvious”.

According to him, “the only reason Charlvon suddenly realized that Chief Emeka Ihedioha was clannish as he claims, is because, he considers taking on the former Governor is the only option left for him to relaunch himself and his group that has already lost steam in the politics of Imo State where they are no longer relevant. But unfortunately for him, Imo people have outgrown such outdated gimmicks”.

Recall, that Chief Amadi, who is the leader and arrow head of Owerri Zone Political Forum OZOPOLF that claimed to be canvassing and mobilizing support for Owerri zone to produce the Governor of Imo State as at 2015, suddenly, made a u-turn, dumped the orchestrated advocacy for the Governor of Owerri zone extraction and mobilized support for Rochas Okorocha to the consternation of his Owerri zone kinsmen, who felt betrayed and disappointed.

In a recent interview, Amadi, claimed to have done that because he suddenly realized that Chief Emeka Ihedioha is clannish.
