My attention has been drawn to a false, wicked, fabricated and destructive online media and video broadcast credited to one self acclaimed ANGEL MAKEUP of the Biafra Liberation Army where he made highly defamatory and unfounded allegations against me:Chief Apicollo Obioha,associating me with sponsorship of IPOB/ESN as well as alleging that I was one of the so-called people that invited them to Orsu to come and protect the people and help the people drive away the Fulani herdsmen.
These allegations leveled against my person are absolutely false, malicious, unfounded and totally fabricated .They are aimed at defaming me with a smear campaign of deliberate falsehood.It is certain that this gimmick is a diversionary and mere outdated trick to mislead the unsuspecting public and to destroy my hard earned reputation and that of other prominent individuals who have contributed immensely towards maintaining of peace and progress in Orsu local Government Area of Imo State.
I want to state unequivocally that at no time did I associate with IPOB/ESN either as a sponsor or among those that allegedly invited them to come to Orsu for whatever reason they claimed..As a responsible Citizen of our country I always stand for peace and progress.
Finally I wish to reiterate that my family and I feel so embarrassed and astonished about this malicious allegation orchestrated to tarnish my image and reputation.
I wish to call on the general public, the good people of Imo State,Imo State Government and the security Agencies to disregard this media campaign as they are untrue and unfounded.
