The vocal activist and commentator on contemporary issues, said, “It is with profound sorrow and righteous outrage that I address the alarming surge of violence sweeping through Okigwe Zone, claiming numerous lives, including the brutal killing of a couple and other innocent souls in Ezinachi community, as well as countless others across Okigwe Zone. As a proud son of Imo State, And a steadfast advocate for the peace and prosperity of our people, I categorically condemn these atrocious acts that desecrate the sanctity of life and threaten the harmony of our communities.

Okigwe Zone, a land celebrated for its rich heritage, resilient spirit, and communal unity, is under siege by a wave of relentless violence. The recent killings, including the heart-wrenching murders in Ezinachi and the widespread loss of lives in other parts of the zone, constitute a grievous assault on our shared values of humanity, dignity, and coexistence. These tragedies are not isolated incidents but a collective wound that demands our immediate and unified response to restore peace, security, and justice.

The slaughter of innocent men, women, and families across Okigwe Zone is an affront to our moral conscience and a betrayal of the progress we have tirelessly pursued. As a leader who has served this state with dedication, I am appalled by the audacity of those who perpetrate such heinous acts, sowing fear and division among our people. The pain of the bereaved families echoes across our communities, compelling us to stand in solidarity and demand an end to this reign of terror.

I urgently call upon the government, security agencies, and community leaders to take decisive action to halt this bloodshed. The authorities must intensify efforts to investigate these killings, apprehend the perpetrators, and ensure that justice is served without delay. Furthermore, we must address the underlying causes of this violence through inclusive dialogue, reconciliation, and sustainable measures to safeguard our communities. Impunity must not prevail, nor can we allow fear to define the future of Okigwe Zone.

To the resilient people of Okigwe Zone and Ezinachi, I urge you to remain steadfast and united in the face of these trying times. Let us channel our collective grief and anger into a resolute commitment to peace, justice, and the rebuilding of our communities. We must reject division and despair, working together to create a region where every life is cherished and protected.

I extend my deepest condolences to the families of all victims across Okigwe Zone, particularly those in Ezinachi who have endured unimaginable loss. May the souls of the departed find eternal rest, and may their loved ones find strength in our shared resolve to honor their memory by ending this cycle of violence.
