– Harps On Transparent Exercise
The Board of Trustees (BoT) of Orluzurumee Youth Assembly last week, inaugurated 7-man Electoral Committee to oversee the conduct of the election of a new executive council that will pilot the affairs of the apex umbrella socio-cultural organization of the youths of Orlu zone.
Some of those appointed are Engr Christian Okorie, a former National President of OYA as Chairman and Rt Hon Gozie Nwagba, former Leader of Orlu Legislative Council as Secretary.
A release signed by the Secretary of Orluzurumee Youth Assembly, BoT Comrade Ozokwere Galore, a former National President of the National Association of Imo State Students (NAISS), said the Committee is charged with the responsibility of ensuring free, credible and transparent election in line with the constitution of OYA adding that the committee has five weeks to conclude the exercise.
