Orluzurumee, the socio-cultural umbrella body of the 12 Local Government Areas in Orlu zone has become more united and formidable under the Ugochukwu Nzekwe-led executive, as the faction led by Chief Reuben Okoro, a prominent son of Orlu zone, has formally joined the Ugochukwu Nzekwe-led group with his supporters.
The latest development according to some insiders, has further confirmed the leadership and administrative prowess of Hon Prince Ugochukwu Nzekwe, a former two time member of the Imo State House of Assembly for Nkwerre State constituency.
Barr Chief Reuben Nzekwe, one of the founding fathers of Orluzurumee, while speaking at a meeting he Convened, declared that he has finally accepted the leadership of Hon Nzekwe. He also advised all members of the group to key into the vision of the new executive, and shun all divisive tendencies.
Okoro called for synergy and unity of purpose adding that there is no longer room for splinter groups under any circumstance.
