The Deputy Vice Chancellor of Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO), Professor Emeka Oguzie, has received a meritorious award, ‘Piql Award for Heritage Preservation’.
The award came due to the Professor’s remarkable contributions to research, innovation and heritage preservation, as well as his leadership in driving sustainable solutions with global impact.
According to the African Centre of Excellence in Future Energies & Electrochemical Systems (ACE-FUELS), “FUTO, proudly announces that our Centre Leader, Professor Emeka Oguzie (DVC Research, Development & Innovation, FUTO), has been awarded the prestigious Piql Award for Heritage Preservation.
“This honour acknowledges Prof. Oguzie’s remarkable contributions to research, innovation and heritage preservation, as well as his leadership in driving sustainable solutions with global impact.
