The Vice Chancellor of the Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University (KOMU) Ideato, has commended the Governor of Imo State, His Excellency Senator Hope Uzodinma for appointing Prof Aloy Onyeka, as the Pioneer Vice Chancellor of the University of Innovation, Awo Omamma, in Oru East Local Government Area.
The erudite scholar who stated this in a post on his social media platform describes Prof Onyeka, as a very reliable, extremely hardworking and trustworthy person with innovative ideas. He is also very tech savvy and will grow the university in line with the mandate of its establishment”.
He also noted that as the Deputy Vice Chancellor of KOMU, Onyeka, contributed enormously to the achievements the school recorded, especially in the area of digital online education and addressing the issue of students transcripts, among others, his adding that the appointment is synonymous with putting a square peg in a square hole.
