The Chairman, Imo State Traditional Institution and Community Policy His Royal Majesty, Eze Udo II of Amageke, in Orlu Local Government Area, has congratulated the Governor of Imo state, Senator Hope Uzodinma, on the occasion of the leadership Award as the Governor of the year 2025, conferred on him by leadership Newspaper.
Eze Okeke, who is also the Chairman, South East Council of Traditional Ruler used the opportunity to commend the Governor on his giant infrastructural development strides that have transformed and changed the fortunes of our dear state, within a relatively short time.
According to Eze Okeke, “the awards is not only meritorious and deserving but also divine, as it came at this auspicious period when Imo State has just celebrated the 50th Anniversary of its creation, with you, as the sitting Chief Executive of the state.
In the words of Leadership Newspaper, Leadership is not how you began but the impact made on the people you have led, i.e the legacies or foot prints you left.
When your Excellency assumed the mantle of leadership in January, 2020, the news media were awash with criticisms not only by your opposition groups, political detractors but by a larger percentage of misinformed Imolites and doubting Thomas’s as to the possibility of anything good coming out of Nazareth. Today, Your Excellency has not only survived the skepticism but has proved them wrong, by changing the narratives, to the astonishment of all your critics and political detractors.
The revered royal father noted that, Governor Uzodinma, has through purposeful and pragmatic leadership addressed most of the daunting challenges he met on assumption of office, including insecurity, dilapidated infrastructure etc, to the astonishment of Imo people.
