The 61st birthday anniversary of the former Governor of Imo State and chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Chief Emeka Ihedioha, has been marked by an avalanche of goodwill messages from his political associates, loyalists, and admirers, who took time to recount his sterling leadership qualities which, according to them, distinguish him from the crowd.
Hon. Okey Okafor and Nze Valentine Ajoku (Ome-Kannaya), in their separate congratulatory messages, described Chief Ihedioha as an outstanding statesman and seasoned democrat whose enormous contributions to both the legislative and executive arms of governance remain indelible.
“Your Excellency’s sojourn in public servicefrom Deputy Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives to Governor of Imo State reflects courage, integrity, and a strong commitment to good governance,” they stated.
Nze Nlemigbo, in his message, described Ihedioha as an exemplary leader who is deeply committed to justice, equity, and fairness.
The 27 ADC Local Government Area Chairmen and Women Leaders, in their separate goodwill messages, described the former governor as an accomplished and visionary leader who has paid his dues in all spheres of life. They further affirmed that he remains “The People’s Choice.”
