..Gives Govt, Imolites Tips On How To Fight Kidnapping, Organ Harvesters

Canada based health expert, auto dealer and development strategist Nze Francis Chike Ugorji (Nze Chinyere) has commended Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma over his remarkable achievements in the state particularly in the area of road and infrastructural development.

He noted that the governor’s unmatchable record on the reconstruction and rebuilding of the hitherto broken down federal government roads in Imo like the Owerri-Okigwe, Owerri-Orlu, Orlu-Akokwa-Uga, Owerri-Portharcourt, Owerri-Mbaise-Umuahia roads, among others have positioned Imo, as highly accessible and strategic investment destination among all the states in southern Nigeria.

Nze Ugorji affirmed that the roads under review including the Assumpta Cathedral modern and model Flyover about to be commissioned, are built with the best of materials and handled by top rated construction companies and experts such that the projects would stand the test of time in many years to come.

Nze Francis Chike Ugorji,  who hails from Owerre-Nkworji in Nkwere Council Area of the state and the governorship candidate of Restoration Party (RP) in the 2019 Guber contest in Imo state, spoke to Journalists from his base in Canada recently.

According to him, Gov. Hope Uzodimma has done well in Federal and some state roads. “The governor needs to however mobilize actions, materials and resources into more state and rural community roads begging for urgent government attention”.

The business mogul explained that the dilapidated nature of most rural roads alongside dearth of government attention in these communities is the singular reason criminal agents have taken control of them all including the bushes therein, turning them into terror havens to the extent that the criminals seemingly appear invisible, untouchable and unchallenged.

“Kidnapping, killings and other criminal activities will be curtailed and contained to a very reasonable extent if our dear governor moves attention to rural communities. We need roads with solar street lights that can scare criminals at night in our rural communities.

We need more state roads built connecting hinterlands to the city centres”.

On the endless kidnappings, killings and organ harvesting ravaging the state, Nze Francis Chike Ugorji (Nze Chinyere) remarked that such heinous crimes can be reduced if government and citizens could synergize well with the security agencies.

He advised travelers to observe due diligence during their travels even as he urged Imo State government to as a matter of urgency, commence without delay the installation of close circuit television cameras (CCTV) in all the strategic roads, junctions and locations within the state.

“If we must win this war against kidnappers, murderers and organ harvesters, we must be proactive going forward.

Imo State government should take the bull by the horns by mounting CCTVs in all strategic roads, junctions and locations. Not just about installing cameras but establishing and empowering Ministry of Homeland Security which must be saddled with the responsibility of 24 hour monitoring of the CCTVs, as well as equipping security agents and their vehicles with modern security/information equipments that would aid them in going after these men of the underworld with a view to apprehending and convicting them.

Finally, I advise Imolites to ensure they take a photograph if possible make a video of any vehicle they want to board and send same to their people digitally before embarking on any journey.

Make sure the driver of the taxi or bus you want to board is aware you are taking pictures and videos of his vehicle, fleet and route numbers. These kidnappers and organ harvesters will avoid the roads when they discover that all eyes are on them and that there’s this citizens’ gang up against them by way of using our phones to take videos and pictures, and uploading same to our loved ones before boarding any commercial vehicle.

Again, government should make it an enforceable law that you must operate a taxi with route number else you will be arrested and your cab confiscated”, Nze Ugorji concluded.
