As chapter berths in Mbaise 

The prestigious Rotary Club International has honored High Chief Summers Nwokie Ph.D, at the investiture of the Rotary Club of Mbaise held on April 10, 2021.

The event which took place at the Mbaise Ezurezu hall in Aboh, was spiced with the induction of the pioneer members of Rotary Club of Mbaise after the confirmation of its charter, by Rotary Club International.

One of the high points of the event was the installation of the chapter president, Chief Joe Ehioma by the state executive of the club and the subsequent recognition of some distinguished personalities, including High Chief Summers Nwokie, a doctorate degree holder in Metaphysics and a phenomenal philanthropist.

In its pre-award speech, the Rotary Club International eulogized the founder of Aka Ji IkukuOma Foundation, Dr Summers Nwokie, for his tremendous efforts in different spheres, services and activities for the uplifitment of humanity.

In his appreciation speech, Dr Nwokie who was represented by the Director General of his humanitarian outfit, Aka Ji Ikukuoma Foundation, Comrade Julius Nnaji, thanked the group for acknowledging his efforts and honoring him as well. 

He pledged to partner with the club in different ways, as the motives of the Rotary Club International are in sync with the the mission and vision of his Foundation.

In support of the charitable and humanitarian activities of the Rotary Club International, Dr Summers Nwokie supported the club with a sizable sum which elicited tumultuous applause.

It is pertinent to note that High Chief Summers Nwokie has been touching lives, enhancing destinies and has contributed immensely towards development in different communities.

Hence the award is well deserved.
