Hold Your Assembly Members Responsible, Not Uzodinma-Group
Sequel to a report published in the Nigeria Watchdog Newspaper of Thursday, August 28 2025, some concerned indigenes of the Mbaise Nation, including Comrade Chilagorom Ifeanyi have heaped the blame on the three House of Assembly members representing Aboh Mbaise, Ezinihitte and Ahiazu Mbaise State constituencies for the neglect adding that it is their docility, naivety and inability to courageously speak on behalf of their constituents who have consistently been deprived of the dividends of democracy that led to the marginalization.
Chilagorom Ifeanyi, in a statement he issued said, “the level of injustice being meted on the Mbaise Nation by the Hope Uzodinma administration has denied the people their constitutional rights, voices and ears in the corridors of power. Yet some of our brothers and sisters still shamelessly parade themselves as ardent Hopeism disciples.”
“As a matter of fact, I do not fully blame Governor Uzodinma for the total neglect and abandonment of Mbaise nation, both in top appointments, road constructions and other dividends of democracy. Rather, our Mbaise brothers and sisters (the so-called “ardent Hopeism disciples”) should also be blamed. The three State House of Assembly Members from Mbaise should also bury their heads in big SHAME, for not speaking out for those they claim to represent.
How many of them has been able to boldly cry to the Governor, concerning the total decay of Mbaise rural roads? Ndi “ardent Hopeism disciples”. How many of them have used their acclaimed strong relationship with the Governor to attract single road construction in his or her community? If you move round to see the deplorable condition of the public schools in Mbaise, you will cry for the students and teachers at home”.
