– Empower Ngor Okpala indigenes to celebrate First Lady’s Birthday
The women’s wing of a fast-growing humanitarian organization, the Nkwa Chi kwere Foundation has expressed immense joy and appreciation over what the group called Governor Hope Uzodimma’s giant strides in governance.
According to the Nkwa Chi Kwere Foundation women, the Imo state Chief Executive, Senator Dr Hope Uzodimma, CON, GSSR, has recorded so many amazing and transformative achievements that have so far, impacted positively on many families across the state.
In a press statement endorsed by the Owerri zonal leader of the Nkwa Chi kwere women, Hon Mrs Mgbechi Onyekachi, the group recalled the various empowerment and transformative programmes initiated and executed by Governor Uzodimma.
” We are aware and happy too, that our governor, Hope Uzodimma since assumption of office in the year, 2020, has provided free mass transit buses for Imo civil servants, maintained a policy of 13th Month salary payment for workers, reactivated public healthcare institutions, instituted Imo state health insurance scheme, initiated the ongoing digital skills acquisition training, a scheme that has so far, produced over 50 thousand digitally trained Imolites and vigorously, pursued infrastructural development across the state. Nkwa Chi Kwere Foundation women are also, aware that under the watch of Governor Hope Uzodimma, insecurity has been reduced to the barest minimum”, the women group stated.
In a related development, the Nkwa Chi kwere Foundation women’s wing has showered praises on the wife of Imo state governor and First Lady of the state, Barr Dr Mrs Chioma Uzodimma whom the group described as a rare breed among women. The women who expressed happiness with the state of affairs in Imo since the assumption of office of Mrs Chioma Uzodimma as Imo First Lady, pointed out that the annual Imo Women August Meeting is now celebrated willingly and happily in the state
The Nkwa Chi Kwere women in joining well-meaning Nigerians to congratulate Chioma Uzodimma over her 2025 birthday anniversary, dished out hundreds of bags of rice, condiments and cash gifts, to enable Ngor Okpala Indigenes celebrate the Imo First Lady’s birthday today, Monday, December 15, 2025.
According to the group, Nkwa Chi Kwere Foundation as a humanitarian, non profit-making organization that has in reality, empowered hundreds of less-privileged persons and families across Owerri senatorial district, follows the footprint of Governor Hope Uzodimma-led 3-mantra administration in giving succour to the needy.
