-Warns detractors from peddling falsehood
The Association of South East Professionals,ASEP has warned individuals using the recent conviction of Eze(Prof.) Ekelekamchukwu Alphonsus Ngwadom, traditional Ruler of
Mbubu – Amiri, Oru East Local Government, Imo State by a court in the United States as a tool for political vendetta to desist forthwith.
The group, in a press release signed by Dr. Ekwebelem Wilfred, JP, and Comrade Nelson Mgbudom, stated that Prof. Ekene was convicted as a result of infractions committed by members of his staff, and not for any offence he personally committed. According to the statement, “He patriotically chose to bear the burden alone in order to protect the image of his company and to shield his staff from complex legal issues.”
The association, which comprises professionals from various disciplines across the South East geopolitical zone, urged those behind what it described as a malicious campaign of calumny—aimed at scoring cheap political points—to desist immediately or risk incurring the wrath of discerning and well-meaning Nigerians who have decoded their hidden agenda by reading between the lines.
Speaking with one of his staff who pleaded anonymity, he said,”Eze(Prof.) Ekelekamchukwu Alphonsus Ngwadom is the CEO of Almarch Counseling Services, PLLC. With numerous workers under him, he takes responsibility for any mistake made by his employees. He is not someone who can throw anyone under the bus. He is a man of integrity and honesty and deserves better. He voluntarily mentors and precepts young professionals in the mental health communities.
“The judge ordered him to pay back $72,014.62, 100 hours of community service. Eze(Prof.) Ngwadom have done many good things in the United States, some countries in Africa and Nigeria.
